Willow With Strawberry Basket

A little slow start this morning, sat up watching the tennis, Serena Williams defeated Justine Henin to win her 5th Australian Open, such a fantastic game. Tonight we have the mens singles final, Roger Federer and Andy Murray ... hope its not a late one, work tomorrow ....... This card is for Allsorts Sketch Challenge Wk 37, image is Wiff Of Joy - Willow with Strawberry Basket, I used my copics, I think I'm getting better with these .... dp is My Minds Eye - Rose 'Just Perfect Clover', used my leaf punch and retro flower punch, and added some paper flowers, will just need to make a box to fit it in.

I've just been reading how Sue has lost her mojo, Patti's is in Australia (LOL), and mine must be just floating around (LOL) .... I have had this Sarah Kay image coloured for a while, just sitting there with the paper just waiting to be put together .... I just keep pushing it aside, then I saw Annabelle's sketch challenge No. 12 and my mojo came right back! ..... I've created an easel card ... my dp is from Grace Taylor, Stamp is Sarah Kay - Joy of Giving, I've changed this from christmas presents to birthday presents, coloured in copics, played with a few punches, punched out a few flowers, added some pearls, put on a sentiment 'Happy Birthday', and here it is....I'm very pleased at how this turned out....

Think Love - TMITA

Over at TMITA, this weeks challenge is by Kim McDonald, and she wants us to use the image 'Think Love', a very cute little giraffe by Nina, and create a treat box, bag or container something to put treats or chocolate in. I've created a triangle box, and filled it with chocolates, yum! ... I found the tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers it was quick and easy. I coloured the giraffe with copics, added a few bits and pieces ... and here it is!

My baby, well teenager is having a minor bit of surgery on Thursday, and I will give this to her, just to remind her, that I love her very dearly. Ok everyone out there in blog land, come along and join in Nina's challenges it's fun, and to do something other than a card was fantastic, so thanks Kim.

On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It's the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation. It's a day for us to re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future.

It's going to be another hot day today here in Sydney, with the weather expected to hit 40c and above, with strong hot winds.... yuk! ... Anyway, I will just stay inside with the air conditioner, and play. Anyway, this card is for Annabelle Sketch Challenge No. 11, I've made another thank you card for one of the girls at work, I've only a few to go... This weeks sketch you can add bling where ever you like! I've used a few sparkles, I must say, I just love my new martha stewart butterfly punch.... just love it ...I want butterflies on everything (LOL)... thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
