100% Sweet

I wanted to do the challenge over at Stamp TV, which was to use digital paper, which I've never thought of using before, so though I would give it ago.  I used the free download paper of Gina K, and I found this little stamp in my stash.

I had the paper, stamp, but no sketch, I alway say next week I'll do the  Sketch Saturday challenge, and never get around to it, so I've done this card for two challenges.

Cracker

I love Christmas, its a time of celebration, a time of giving.  It's all so my daughters birthday, so we celebrate her birthday in the morning, then all the family come to my home, only because we have a pool and after lunch to kids can have a swim, as its normally quite hot!, we have a big feast, then later in the afternoon, we have the birthday cake.  She really does celebrate!   This year she is turning 18! .... I wonder what we will do!

This is is for the challenge at Winter Wonderland  I wanted to do a different sort of a cracker, hope you like it.

Little Back Pac & Purse

Fiona is a Stamping Up demonstrator, and I attended a craft night at her home on Wednesday, and we make a little back pac and purse, they are so adorable.  Go check out Fionas Blog here

Summer

I love this stamp it's from Gina K Designs 'Eclectic Summer' stamp kit  here   This is challenge No. 1 of 3, wonder if I will do the other two.  I'm going to try ...

Thank You

This card is for Mojo Monday Wk 92, have a look here  Stamps are from SU 'Upsy Daisy'.  I've embossed the image in gold.  If I may say so myself, I think I'm getting quite clever, since I'm quite new to this!

Cold

This card is for  Winter Wonderland Wk 4 - 'A Blue Christmas'.  My image is Gina K. design 'Warm & Cozy Christmas', have a look here. I do find it a little strange making cards for Christmas with snow, when our Christmas is hot! ...

I've had the image coloured for a while, and didn't know what layout, then out came the new Stamps and Smiles Sketch Challenge #21 here   so I've entered this card there as well.

I throughly enjoyed making this card.

Forgot to show you the inside... so here it is!

Froggie

I don't know where the stamp came from, but he is really cute.

Flower Power

I wasn't going to take the challenge, as I had planned to have a day in the garden, but since it was a wet day, I thought I would do the challenge for Stamp TV 17.... I don't know what the paper is, as I just used scraps, but the stamp is from Gina K's new range Eclectic Summer

Beautiful

It's such a gloomy day outside, wet and cold, so I don't feel to guilty, I've made a nice pumpkin and barley soup, so that will keep them happy, and they won't complain about me making a mess, all over the dinning room table!

I made this for Stamps and Smiles, I think its suppose to be happy and it reads, but I've used a Gina K stamp, which I borrowed from my friend Sue, and the dp is from SU.

For You

For You - Mojo Monday 90 - I started with an A5 white card, and used SU paper and stamp, and coloured with my new prismacolor pencils.

Tuesday, June 9, 2009

I had a fabulous day yesterday, sat down sharpened all my pencils 120 of them, then in the afternoon I went to the Sydney Film Festival to the opening premier of Prime Mover, directed by David Ceaser, it had one of my favourite actors Ben Mendelsohn, it was shot is Dubbo, which is a country town outside NSW, if you get the chance have a look and support the Australian Film Industry.

Anyway, back to my passion 'Card Making', I heading home to work on Mojo Monday .... so roll on 6pm.

Until next time.... take care .....

Monday, June 8, 2009

After doing my challenge for Stamp TV, I got so frustrated as I only had 12 prismacolor pencils.   I started trying to mix them, what a disaster I ended up in, so yesterday off I went to the local Westfield (shopping centre), and purchased 120 prismacolor pencils, now I'm going to sit quietly, put on a DVD (nothing exciting, only the rough cut of my new series for channel 9), and sharpen my pencils.

Unit next time....
