Hang In There - Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No. 5

Morning All!

Tomorrow afternoon I'm flying up to Coffs Harbour which is up the north coast from Sydney, to spend Easter with family, really looking forward to getting away, so won't be around until next week, when I have to return to work 'yuk; ..... todays card is for Sassy Cherly's Challenge No. 5, and its bought to us by Tracey, the theme is Distressing - rip, tear, antique it! .. what every your heart desires. I've distressed around the edges, not that you can really tell in my photo. I've created an easel card, used a cute Sassy Chery's image, coloured with prismacolour pencils,gamsol, and my dp basic grey lemonade, added a few flowers and bingo here it is!

Easter Basket - TMITA

Good Morning!....

Took me so long to get to work this morning, as it's raining today in Sydney, not complaining .... but why when it rains, it adds an extra 1/2hr to my trip? Anyway enough of me .... Today's creative creation, is for TMITA challenge which is bought to us this week by Sue Walsh, and as Easter is just around the corner, Sue has challenged us to make an easter basket. I've made mine out of nestibilities, you can find the tutorial here, I've used a digi image from Paper Cupcakes, and coloured my image with prismacolour pencils and gamsol.

Oops.... I ate the chocolate eggs .. only two left....

Good Morning /Evening!

The weather is just fantastic here in Sydney, they were back burning yesterday, and now the smoke has gone yippee! .... Today's card is for two challenges, first of all this is for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No.4, the hostess is Tracy, and her challenge is to make a card or 3D project Easter/Spring, and you must use a Sassy Cheryl's image. The second challenge is for Our Creative Corner, and this week Silke Ledlow is challenging us to a sketch.

My image is Sassy Cheryl's, my dp is My Minds Eye, which was gift from Betty Benton, its just so fresh, great for spring ...

March-ing With The Troups

This card is for the Roses Challenge, there are six of us Olga, Kym, Betty, Connie and Sue, this months challenge has been set by Kym, the challenge is to create a card, send to her son who is serving in Afghansitan with the US Marines. So I got talking to Sue about the challenge and I've copied her thinking, which was to leave the card blank insert a blank envelope, so Travis can either send to his mum, wife, sister, or even just a friend to say hi.

My stamp is from gina k - take flight, dp is Kaisercraft - Lilac Avenue collection, martha steward boarder bunch.

Well this will be in the post tomorrow.

Now, its my turn to set the challenge for the month of April! thinking cap is on!

Good Morning,

Thought I better get this posted before I head out the door. I taking my two grandsons to the Moscow Circus, now I've the camera back, which was sitting on the wall outside at work, I will take some photo's and post up during the week. So back to my card, this is for TMIA challenge, which is bought to us this week by Olga, which is to use any paper cupcakes image, three ribbons, two buttons. I've used the sketch over at Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge. My dp is basic crew, I've coloured my image in prismacolour pencils and gamsol, used my nestibilities, and here it is..
