Lilies

Hello,

First day of filming and all went really well .... only 59 days to go, but who's counting.... me... no not me!..... Well, actually I'm counting down the days to the Copic Certification program.... I just couldn't believe it when they rang and said I had a place....of course I rang Sue straight away!... and you guessed it, we are going together... I'm so so so excited!

This week over at TMITA, its Sue's turn to host the challenge, and we are to use the provided image and do what we want..... I made a simple card, with no DP, I've coloured my image with prismacolour pencils & gamsol, sentiment is from Gina K and my marta stewart butterfly punch, which I just love! .... the butterfly is heading for the flowers! Also, over at Allsort Challenge blog, they have a photo inspiration, which is butterflies... go check it out and play along.

Until next time !

Flowers & Blossoms

Good Morning/Evening!

I've had such a busy week working 12hr days, but its alway like this the week before we commence filming, sorting out cast, crew and locations, and the weekend has been quite busy, doing house work, and not to mention the ironing, but its all done ready for another week. I've created this card for Annabelle's Sketch Challenge, using the sketch & Our Creative Corner, which is flowers & blossoms. I've used american craft earth tone card stock, DP is green at heart, and my image is Gina K spring florals, coloured the image with prismacolour pencils and gamsol and punched out the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Until next time enjoy your week!

ANZAC DAY - 25 April

Good Morning!

ANZAC Day – 25 April – is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The soldiers in those forces quickly became known as ANZACs, and the pride they took in that name endures to this day.

Australians recognise 25 April as an occasion of national remembrance, which takes two forms. Commemorative services are held at dawn – the time of the original landing – across the nation. Later in the day, ex-servicemen and women meet to take part in marches through the major cities and in many smaller centres. Commemorative ceremonies are more formal and are held at war memorials around the country. In these ways, ANZAC Day is a time when Australians reflect on the many different meanings of war.

Traditionally, sprigs of rosemary are worn on ANZAC Day. Rosemary has particular significance for Australians, as it is found growing wild on the Gallipoli peninsula.

Just a little history for you all!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read.

Close Up Artist

Good Morning/Evening!

Oh, I can't believe it.... two cards during the week, this has to be a record for me! This card is for two challenges, the first is Sassy Chery's Challenge, which is bought to us by Jackie and she is challenging us to use a Sassy Cheryl boy digi image and I've chosen ' Close Up Artist Boy'and the colour combo is blue and cream. And over at Inspirational Card Sketches, they have this great sketch which I followed, well sort of followed, instead of a circle I went square, well not literally! (LOL) As you can see I didn't use any DP, this must also be a first. I've coloured my image with prisma colour pencils and gamsol.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Until next time!

Merry Wishes - TMITA

Good Morning,

Running late for work this morning, as I wanted to photograph my card, so I could put up, (didn't turn out too well), we are so busy, with filming to commence within the next two weeks, so all go here, cast read thru today, and we have some of Australia's finest actors, Richard Roxburgh, Hugo Weaving, Matt Day, just to name a few. Today's card is for TMITA, and this week Nellia Berflie brings us the challenge, and we are to use 'Merry Wishes' digital image by Paper Cupcakes, and the colours to be used are blue/green/white. I coloured my image with prismacolour pencils and gamsol, and I've used dimensional magic on the his body I was trying to give him a wool coat... didn't work out too well!, used my new daisy punch, added a bit of bling .. oh and the sentiment is from Gina K.

Have a wonderful day!
