Willow With Strawberry Basket

Hi there,

A little slow start this morning, sat up watching the tennis, Serena Williams defeated Justine Henin to win her 5th Australian Open, such a fantastic game. Tonight we have the mens singles final, Roger Federer and Andy Murray ... hope its not a late one, work tomorrow ....... This card is for Allsorts Sketch Challenge Wk 37, image is Wiff Of Joy - Willow with Strawberry Basket, I used my copics, I think I'm getting better with these .... dp is My Minds Eye - Rose 'Just Perfect Clover', used my leaf punch and retro flower punch, and added some paper flowers, will just need to make a box to fit it in.

I've just been reading how Sue has lost her mojo, Patti's is in Australia (LOL), and mine must be just floating around (LOL) .... I have had this Sarah Kay image coloured for a while, just sitting there with the paper just waiting to be put together .... I just keep pushing it aside, then I saw Annabelle's sketch challenge No. 12 and my mojo came right back! ..... I've created an easel card ... my dp is from Grace Taylor, Stamp is Sarah Kay - Joy of Giving, I've changed this from christmas presents to birthday presents, coloured in copics, played with a few punches, punched out a few flowers, added some pearls, put on a sentiment 'Happy Birthday', and here it is....I'm very pleased at how this turned out....

Think Love - TMITA

Hello,

Over at TMITA, this weeks challenge is by Kim McDonald, and she wants us to use the image 'Think Love', a very cute little giraffe by Nina, and create a treat box, bag or container something to put treats or chocolate in. I've created a triangle box, and filled it with chocolates, yum! ... I found the tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers it was quick and easy. I coloured the giraffe with copics, added a few bits and pieces ... and here it is!

My baby, well teenager is having a minor bit of surgery on Thursday, and I will give this to her, just to remind her, that I love her very dearly. Ok everyone out there in blog land, come along and join in Nina's challenges it's fun, and to do something other than a card was fantastic, so thanks Kim.

Anyway, I will just stay inside with the air conditioner, and play. This weeks sketch you can add bling where ever you like! Tons Of Love

Yippie its Friday, its so hot today, I've been lucky, in the office in Air Con, but just arrived home to an oven, I've put the air con on and its starting to cool down, the weather forecast for Sydney is extremely high temperatures, total fire ban for the next few days, fingers crossed no bush fires! ... I'll quickly post my card, as I'm just going to have a quick dip, before they get home..... and if I may say so myself, its so cute, I love the way this card has turned out. My card is for TMITA, its a free image from Nina, 'Tons Of Love', and Olga has set the challenge, to use red ribbon, buttons, glitter or something that sparkles, so this is my take, hope you like it, and thanks for visiting.....

Only 4 more days of filming 'yippie', and another television series in the can!.... Since a lot of my staff are heading off to commence on different projects, I thought I better get a wriggle on and make some thank you cards, here is the first of many .... this card is for Annabelle's sketch challenge No. 10 go check out her blog here as the new release stamps are available... my card is 14cm x 14cm, dp is Breaking Free (adventure series) fruit flavored "lovin life" and fruity stripes paper, I used both sides of dp on this card, I also punched the flowers from the same dp, added a swirl in pearls, wow this was time consuming glueing them in place. Well thats about it I think!

I received a spa package called 'Yummy Mummy', from a dear friend of mine for Christmas. So today was the day, 3hrs of total indulgence.... massage, body scrub, facial manicure & pedicure.... well I feel a million dollars ... totally silky and smooth. Enough of me! ... So I made this card during the week, really didn't work that well, but hey we all have disasters (LOL), this is Miss Kitty she is a freebie from TMITA, this week, Danielle Lord had set the challenge and its to use stripes somewhere on the project other than the image... I used the sketch from Mojo Monday WK 121.

Today is so hot, I decided to stay indoors with the air con on, I did have a quick dip in the pool! Over at Stamp TV, Selma, is hosting 'Blast From The Past Challenge', the challenge is to watch Gina's video 'heat embossing' then make a card using this technique plus you have to have, at least one heart on your project..... well I've created an easel card, this is my first attempt at this and wow, I love the way it turned out! .... My card is 15cm x 15cm card, I embossed the image (sorry don't know where the image came from), the dp is BoBunny, which I've had for quite a long time.

I've created this card for the challenge over at There's Magic In The Air, using Nina's image, and the colours were set by one of the design team members Patti, I didn't have the right colours so I've used creamy caramel, more mustard, always artichoke (oh that was one colour I had) and really rust, all from Stampin Up, my dp is also from stampin up. I've used the sketch over at Mojo Monday Wk 120.

Yesterday I was supposed to go sailing, but it was such a miserable day, we cancelled until we have perfect weather. So, I stayed indoors and played in the craft room. Todays card is for two challenges - Just Us Girls and Crazy 4 Challenges. The digi image is a feebie from Nina at TMITA and sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Well, I had a house full of people on New Years Eve, people just dropping in and out!..... Before I went away, a friend said why don't you have a New Years Eve Party, yeh right, I don't have time to organise that, besides, soon as I get home I have 30 adults and teenages coming over for a BBQ for Hollys birthday, no worries she said I will organise it.... didn't really think anymore of it, so on the 30th had Hollys party, then rolled straight into another, didn't realise she had invited so many people, and when its your home you have to entertain.... let alone clean up, well I finally have my home back in order. So today, I've decided to have a quite time ... my time, and I've created this card for Annabelle Stamps Sketch Challenge, go check it out and come and play. Stamps are from Gina K, Eclectic Summer.
