Merry Christmas

Good Morning/Evening,

I'm coming down with a cold, and trying to fight it, I have such a sore throat and my glands are up, but I'm not going to let this little rascal get hold of me! We have had such beautiful weather the last few days, actually week! ... now it feels like we are back to winter, and it's raining... yuk .... I created this christmas card using Annabelle sketch. My dp is basic grey eskimo kisses, stamp is Annabella, sentiment is Gina K, coloured with copics, lacey circle die cut, added a bit of bling and bingo its finished! That's another christmas card done (LOL) ... I'd love you all to come and join in the fun, as its such a great sketch. I'm entering this into the following challegnes.

Until next time, enjoy the rest of the week

Hello

Morning Bloggers!

I have to say, this week has to be one of the hardest I done in a long time! We are doing a massive explosion, blowing the back doors of an armored van, I normally have a crew/cast of 50, with all the stunts and safety, I've got close to 100, then we go in to full blown night shoots (Friday night), I mean starting at 5 in the afternoon, finishing at 4 in the morning, and if they think I will be there, they have another thing coming.... I will be tucked up in bed with the mobile phone turned off! ....... I've used basic grey dp, stamp is from Gina K, and well it used to be butterflies... but now its bows (LOL).... just love the bow easy.

Nearly the weekend!

Friendship ....

Good Morning/Evening,

Now that was one busy weekend!.... I started off by watching Jack play baseball, which is so funny to watch as they have know idea what they are doing, which makes it's so enjoyable! ... then off to do the shopping, then home to do the cooking, in between washing, cleaning... all done, then I had a late night on Saturday night, back on Sunday morning to give a hand at cleaning, then in the afternoon I hit the craft room, and noticed I haven't even opened up my parcel from Stampin Up, I got so excited, and a boost of energy. As I mentioned I made quite a few of these decoupage images, as I liked them all. I actually can't find the web site I down loaded these from, as I just printed them out... silly me, but my sentiment is from stampin up 'time passes .... friendship stays right where it's put!', I sponged around the edge with my new stampin up Tempting Turquoise ink. Next weekend is a long weekend, and I'm going up the coast to visit an old friend and this is for her. I would like to enter this in the following challenges

* Crazy 4 Challenges - Bling (will I've got a little)

Thanks for stopping by.... enjoy the week!

Roses Challenge #8

Hi Bloggers,

This month has just flown by, we have had such wonderful weather this week here is Sydney, summer is on the way .... yippee .... I'm hoping the weekend will be the same, as I've so much to do! don't think I will be crafting. My daughter is having a party on Saturday night for her 25th birthday, and of course the good mum I am, I've a bit of cooking to do. She has asked me to make her a cake, don't know where she thinks I have all this time (LOL), especially when she has asked for a doll cake, so I will get the caterer at work to bake for me, then all I have to do is decorate it!.... Well, back to the Rose Challenge, this month Kym has challenged us to create a card doing decoupage ... humm I thought, I surfed the net (whilst at work) naughty me.... and came across a site I really liked, so I down loaded most of the sheets, as I liked all of them all. I've created a christmas card, and I feel I'm really mastering my bows, as I've been doing lots of practice in front of the TV! Thanks Kym for a great challenge, had fun with this one. Now if you all have time go and check out the Roses Blogs.

Merry Christmas

Hi Bloggers,

Hope your all enjoying the week, which just seems to be flying by!... well called into the local supermarket to pick up a few things, and ran into an old work mate, whom I've not seen for some years, so naturally we got chatting, and wow how I'd forgotten how she loves a chat (LOL), got onto the subject of kids, and yes I mentioned that I was a grandmother and loving it, she remembers both my girls when they were younger .... then out pops 'you must be in your early 50's'.... I was extremely quick to respond, I've just hit 47.... she was quite embarrassed! ... I walked off wondering, have I really aged that much.... hummmm ...

Ok, as Christmas will be on us before we know it, I'm getting organised for once in my life (LOL), I've used a stampin up image and sentiment, dp is basic grey. It didn't photograph to well, due the the gold around the edges. I'm entering this into the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges.

Happy Birthday ..

Good Morning/Evening!

Where have the years gone? ... This card is is for my daughters birthday, she is turning 25, and it only seems like yesterday she was born, she is a mum to two gorgeous boys, who I just adore. Jack rang me at work and said 'Nana Kez', can you come to baseball, then take me to swimming lessons, and can I stay at your house for a sleep over. Well we had such a great time together he is such a character, don't know what the teachers will think when he starts school next year! .... Oh back to my card, my stamp is from Justrite - Plant a Little Love set, coloured with copics. I love the new nestabilities die cuts Lacey Circles, they are so pretty, think they will be getting a good work out! I entering this into two challenges.

Hope this finds you all well!

Just Playing Around

Hello,

When I saw the cover of the new magazine from Stampin Up, I thought, what a great way to use up scraps, and this was so easy to do, my squares are 3 x 3 cm, glued them down, then used the Top Note die from Stampin Up, and ran it through the cuttle bug, added a sentiment, .... now how easy was that.

Thanks to stopping by.

Hello

Hello fellow bloggers,

I've had such a busy week, its always extremely hectic, just before we commence filming, our first day will be Monday, and its a 10weeks shoot. Now, they are all out of the office, I might get some things done, like leaving early and playing in the craft room! (good being the boss)...

On Saturday I went to a Stampin Up afternoon, got to play with a few thing I hadn't before, made a few cards, and yes, your guessed it, I ordered a truck load of goodies, now I can't wait for them to arrive. We made three cards, but one is too hard to photograph, so I'm only showing you two.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment!

Happy Fathers Day!

Good Morning/Evening!

Today is fathers day here in Australia, and we are having a family BBQ at my brothers, I feel really bad as I've not seen either of the boys or there families for so long, even though I talk to the boys once a week! and its not like we live miles apart, just we get tied up with kids and there sports etc.... but, I'm looking so forward to seeing my nieces and nephew, yes only one boy.

This card is for my dad, its very plain (LOL), my paper is basic grey origins, and my stamp is from Stampin Up, I added a few buttons. I'm entering this in the challenge Cards for Men.

As you can see my shoulder is so much better, thanks to acupuncture!

Take care...

Hello Blogging Friends!

It's Saturday here in Sydney, I had to go out this morning, which was for a massage... now I'm feeling totally relaxed, and since its wet, there is no better place to be, than in the craft room, making a mess!... which I'm doing and totally loving it.

So, I would like to share with you a corner bookmark I've made, instead of giving your books 'dog ears', why not make one of these, not only will it save your book pages, but its very pretty!... you can find the tutorial here and its such a great way to use up your scraps, the stamp is one I pickup up in a dollar store. I'm going to enter in the following challenges,

* Crazy 4 Challenges - Create anything 'Book Related'
* Paper Cubed - Bookmark
* Lets Ink It Up - Tag/Bookmark

Until next time!
