Roses Challenge

Hello Bloggers,

Sorry I've not been around, I've just been extremely busy with work, its now starting to slow down, now we have finished filming, I've one more week to get the office packed up, ready for the next production, had forgotten just how much there is to do, just have to finalise the opening and closing credits, and get ready for the audit.

Ok, its that time of the month and its the Rose Challenge, this month Connie bought us this challenge and it was to create a bookmark, well I'm getting quite good at these, as I've made a few now. You can get the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. This one I will give to my niece who is starting school next year. So, I used an Elisabeth Bell digi image and coloured with copics.

Also, we have had two new flowers join us, Patti & Mary Ann, so now there are eight... won't be long and I'm sure we will have a dozen wild roses. If you get a minute please check out there blogs.

I'm going to enter the following challenges -

I'm Back!

Hi Blogging Buddies!

Yes, I've been missing in action, I had such a busy weekend, and a house full of girls!.... I had my 30 year school reunion on Saturday night... I didn't really know what to expect, as I keep in contact with most of the girls, and hear via the grape vine about others. Well my best buddy came in from the Gold Coast, well that was like a reunion in itself, as we haven't seen each other for a few months, we just natter on the phone. Then it was typical natter, what are you wearing, you wearing high shoes... (LOL). On went a little black dress, high shoes, and off we went, it was such a wonderful evening, the boys really haven't changed, put on a little weight (haven't we all), and quite a few of them are bald!... There was only one person I didn't recognize , she spoke to me like I was her best friend, then I realised she had dark hair at school, now its blonde, or should I say grey with blonde streaks (LOL). Then on the Sunday night I had the Independant Film Awards, had a little nana nap on Sunday afternoon, to get my energy back (hate getting old)... Back to work Monday, then my sister-law arrived Monday night, stayed until Wednesday..... well I've just got the place back in order, beds washed, fridge stocked..... never know who will turn up next!

Looking forward to getting back into the craft room, is must be really missing, me....

Unitl next time!

Edens 2nd Christmas

Good Morning/Evening,

It was such a quiet day in the office, filming is coming to an end.... yippee, nine days to go ... not counting!... I had an appointment late afternoon, then came straight home, organised dinner, and you guessed it, headed to the craft room. My image is from Elisabeth Bell - Eden's 2nd christmas, coloured with copics, dp is cosmo cricket - Jolly by Golly, sentiment is Gina K. I embossed the image, and used nestabilities Eyelet Circles. It looked so plain so I embossed around the edges in gold, added a ribbon.. oh I'm getting so much better with my bows! Anyway I would like to enter the following challenges.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Table Decoration

Hi Bloggers,

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!....I don't know what's happening to our Aussie weather, Saturday was wet and cold that I was rugged up like a woolly bear. Then woke on Sunday to such a glorious day, that I stripped all beds, and the washing was dry in no time at all!... Don't know how much crafting I'll get done this week, as I've got my 30 year school reunion next weekend, and my best buddy who lives on the Gold Coast is arriving on Wednesday!... will probably end up with a say jaw from too much jabbering (LOL)... There are three of us who are in constant contact, that when we email its a three way thing!... so the three of us have booked a hotel room for Saturday night, as the reunion is in Manly, which is an hour away from where I live... yes I will post photos... camera is ready to rock and roll!

Ok, onto my project, I'm just loving the challenges over at Paper Cubed (P3), and this month the challenge is to make some type of votive holder or candle decoration. This was a really challenge, as I've never decorated a candle before, so I visited splitcoast stampers and downloaded the tutorial. My stamp is from Stamp-It Australia - Holly Swirl, which I stamped on tissue paper, coloured with copics, wrapped around the candle, covered with grease proof paper, then used my hairdryer, and applied the same method to the sentiment which is from Stampin Up. I've added a little red and green glitter glue to the holly and berries. Added some stampin up paper around the bottom, followed with a gold ribbon, then a silver pipe cleaner and a few silver stars.

As I'm hosting Christmas Day this year, I will proudly have this in the centre of the table, and yes they will all be told 'I made it'....talking about I made it, I've made the top 3 at P3, the last two challenges.... hummm things come in three's in my life! I would like to enter the following challenges.

Lili of the Vall

Hi Bloggers,

Today was Melbourne Cup, when the nation stop to celebrate and watch the race. We ran a sweep, and I won thanks to my horse 'Americain'... well I'm not into horse racing, so had know idea weather it was a good one or not... but hey must have been pretty good to come home first.

Well, onto my card, first of all sorry about the photo, just can't seen to get it right at night. This is a cute little image from Lili of the Valley - oh so girly, coloured with copics. I would like to enter the following challenges.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Don't Loose the Page....

Good Morning/Evening Bloggers!

Hope you all are having a good week. I have been very lucky to spend two days at home last week, Tuesday and Friday... oh how I would love to only work three... actually not work at all (LOL).

When I saw this challenge, I knew I just had to jump in and do it. My in-laws are avid readers, so I've created a his and her book mark, I'm sure you can guess which is which (LOL), as always I've used my martha stewart butterfly punch, which has just got to be a favorite, added a few pearls, and for the males, my dp is from Stampin Up and is newspaper print. You can get the tutorial here. Now all I have to do is purchase them a great read, and bingo I've them done for christmas. I would like to enter into the following challenge.

Until next time!

Follow Your Dreams

Hi Blogging Buddies,

Hope you all have had an enjoyable weekend, which I must say went way to fast, I went sailing on Pittwater today, and I'm still swaying! Well onto my card, I've been sitting in front of the television colouring in over the last few nights, which I must say has been enjoyable. I just love this image, its from Lili of the Valley - boy oh boy, I coloured with copics, my dp is Cosmo Cricket - Pixie-Licious, and I think this sentiment really complements this card. I would like to enter the following challenges.

Hopefully, I'll get a bit more colouring done this week!

Hugs,
