Just a quick posting for the Stamps & Smiles, SASSC30, as I'm about to head for the garden, the weather has been gorgeous, but its been extremely windy, and as I have big gum trees, and branches all over the place, so off to collect them.

Hello, what an extremely busy day today, my daughter has her Year 12 graduation coming up, so we left quite early headed for the city, looking for a formal outfit, we started in the QVB, headed for the Strand Arcade, ended in David Jones. I saw lots of things I liked for me, she said 'mum this is about me not you',(LOL) but we drove off empty handed, but, as we were heading over the Harbour Bridge, I said lets go to Chatswood Chase, so we ended in there, believe it or not we got a dress, only to be informed she needs two, can't you were the same, no one will know, but half the school is going to the other as well. Thursday we are heading for Paddington.....

Anyway, I decided to make a card, to take my mind of the credit card debt! This is for Mojo Monday 101, its my weekly christmas card, and I used my new stamp.

I haven't anything to post, as I haven't even looked in the craft room for over a week, I've just been extremely busy with work, we have just wrapped up shooting, and clearing up, and I'm about to venture on another series 'Spirited', and am bringing in an actor Matt King, from the UK, so am busy organising flights and accommodation, and finding accommodation over the christmas period here is Sydney, is proving to be hard, especially when he wants a fully furnished 4 bedroom home, but I know I will find just what he wants !

I hoping to catch up on a few sketches this weekend.

Ho Ho Ho

Back again, this time with my own weekly challenge which is to make a christmas card a week. I'm starting to get quite a stash together, if I keep going, I'm sure to have enough, might have too many, so will have to find more friends (LOL).. I didn't use any stamps, just one sheet of dp, which I've had for quite sometime.

Good Morning, hope you all have had a wonder week, its Saturday, and the weather is just beautiful, I stripped all the beds, the washing machine is going a 100k per hr (LOL), and the weather forecast for Sunday in Sydney is 28!, if it does get to this it will be the 2nd hottest day of August on record!... well lets see.

Today's card is for Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge 28.

Once again, I just used scraps left around, I don't know where this digi image came from, but I love it, I've used my prismacolour pencils, and blended with Gamsol.

Fathers Day

Hello!   Things are starting to slow down at work, as we are coming to end of filming our first series, only 2 weeks to go, so left work early, and early for me is 1800, I quickly called in to see my dad on the way home, as he witnessed a terrible accident on the weekend, where a young man in his early 40's, jumped in front of a train.  Whilst I was there my mother gave me a little bag of goodies, she couldn't understand why I was in a hurry... so quickly left rushed home, cooked a quick dinner, cleaned up ... and the rest is history (LOL).... so here is this weeks sketch challenge for Mojo Monday Wk99.  Fathers Day is a few weeks away, so I've made this card for my son in-law.

I've been away this week for work, in the Hunter Valley, which is 2hrs drive north of Sydney, Australia, 'Wine Country', we were filming a wedding, with the bride taking off in a hot air balloon, only problem is, it gets stuck on power lines, and the Rescue Special Ops team are there to save her!  Well, problems, it was too windy for the balloon, so we had to bring in a 80 tonne crane, hang the basket and cheat it! ... Next day we tethered the balloon, and did some plate shoots, lets hope with modern technology, the audience won't know..... television!!!   I did manage to visit a few wineries!

So today, I sat down, relaxed, and made cards:
