Gift Cards

Good Morning!

Well its taken me over a week to get back into the swing of things, the gardens were a mess as there were really strong winds whilst I was away, and having to go back to work (yuk). So, the week has passed, and I feel that I'm on top of things, and I missed making my cards, so I've made two cards for Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge 37. I've created these cards for my niece and nephew for Christmas, as they are at the teenage years, I never know what to buy, but by giving them a gift card they can purchase what they like. I will just pop the gift card in the top.

Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge No. 34

Ok, I'm back and have a new vacuum cleaner.... forgot to tell you, that with the dirt around, I put my car through the car wash, I'm sitting there listening to the music, and then realised that the car wash had stopped half way through and I was stuck!.... do I get out or do I stay in, well, thankfully the attendant came over pushed a few buttons and out I went.

Well what a hectic weekend I've just had, I had my grandsons 4th birthday at our place, 15 kids, with there parents. I spent most of the day in the kitchen...., then the cleaning up, didn't get to bed until after midnight, and today, i've been washing... but, I did manage to make this card for Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge 33. This is for my daughters graduation on Thursday, I've made it quite bright.

Wedding

Yippee!!!... its the weekend.... I know I've been on holidays, but i've been running around with my daughter all week, looking at universities and tafe colleges......, at least I've given the house a good Spring clean, as I'm heading back to work on Monday, this time I'm making an 8 pt series for Foxtel called Spirited, with Claudia Karvan, she made a fabulous series called Love My Way, if you haven't already seen it, you should try and get it on DVD.

Anyway, enough of my work. My eldest daughter is off to a wedding tomorrow, and this afternoon ask me to make a card, talk about leave thing to the last minute..... This is for Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge 32.... I really enjoy doing these sketches.....

Just a quick posting for the Stamps & Smiles, SASSC30, as I'm about to head for the garden, the weather has been gorgeous, but its been extremely windy, and as I have big gum trees, and branches all over the place, so off to collect them.

Hello, what an extremely busy day today, my daughter has her Year 12 graduation coming up, so we left quite early headed for the city, looking for a formal outfit, we started in the QVB, headed for the Strand Arcade, ended in David Jones. I saw lots of things I liked for me, she said 'mum this is about me not you',(LOL) but we drove off empty handed, but, as we were heading over the Harbour Bridge, I said lets go to Chatswood Chase, so we ended in there, believe it or not we got a dress, only to be informed she needs two, can't you were the same, no one will know, but half the school is going to the other as well. Thursday we are heading for Paddington.....

Anyway, I decided to make a card, to take my mind of the credit card debt! This is for Mojo Monday 101, its my weekly christmas card, and I used my new stamp.

Ho Ho Ho

Back again, this time with my own weekly challenge which is to make a christmas card a week. I'm starting to get quite a stash together, if I keep going, I'm sure to have enough, might have too many, so will have to find more friends (LOL).. I didn't use any stamps, just one sheet of dp, which I've had for quite sometime.

Good Morning, hope you all have had a wonder week, its Saturday, and the weather is just beautiful, I stripped all the beds, the washing machine is going a 100k per hr (LOL), and the weather forecast for Sunday in Sydney is 28!, if it does get to this it will be the 2nd hottest day of August on record!... well lets see.

Today's card is for Stamps & Smiles Sketch Challenge 28.

Once again, I just used scraps left around, I don't know where this digi image came from, but I love it, I've used my prismacolour pencils, and blended with Gamsol.
