Table Decoration

Hi Bloggers,

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!....I don't know what's happening to our Aussie weather, Saturday was wet and cold that I was rugged up like a woolly bear. Then woke on Sunday to such a glorious day, that I stripped all beds, and the washing was dry in no time at all!... Don't know how much crafting I'll get done this week, as I've got my 30 year school reunion next weekend, and my best buddy who lives on the Gold Coast is arriving on Wednesday!... will probably end up with a say jaw from too much jabbering (LOL)... There are three of us who are in constant contact, that when we email its a three way thing!... so the three of us have booked a hotel room for Saturday night, as the reunion is in Manly, which is an hour away from where I live... yes I will post photos... camera is ready to rock and roll!

Ok, onto my project, I'm just loving the challenges over at Paper Cubed (P3), and this month the challenge is to make some type of votive holder or candle decoration. This was a really challenge, as I've never decorated a candle before, so I visited splitcoast stampers and downloaded the tutorial. My stamp is from Stamp-It Australia - Holly Swirl, which I stamped on tissue paper, coloured with copics, wrapped around the candle, covered with grease proof paper, then used my hairdryer, and applied the same method to the sentiment which is from Stampin Up. I've added a little red and green glitter glue to the holly and berries. Added some stampin up paper around the bottom, followed with a gold ribbon, then a silver pipe cleaner and a few silver stars.

As I'm hosting Christmas Day this year, I will proudly have this in the centre of the table, and yes they will all be told 'I made it'....talking about I made it, I've made the top 3 at P3, the last two challenges.... hummm things come in three's in my life! I would like to enter the following challenges.

Until next time!
