Make It Monday!

Hi blogging buddies,

I've now been in my new position for two weeks, and it was only today, that I felt that my office is now my little haven, I'm on the 9th of a 10 story building, and my office looks out over Sydney Harbour, I could just sit and stare all day, watching the activity on the harbour, I had to close the blinds today so I could get some work done (LOL)...next week all my pictures of the different shows I've worked on, will go up on the wall, then it will be complete...

Yes, I've not been able to connect to the internet at home this week, there has been a fault in the line, back at base, got home tonight, and was so excited it was back on, that I could communicate with you all ... yippee....

Roses Challenge No. 12

Good Morning/Evening,

Its the end of January already!... or should I say beginning of February! ... and I'm late with my post ... sorry .... this month Betty was the host of the Roses Challenge, and she would like to see a childhood photo. First thing I did was start looking for photo's of me, I have them all stored in a metal box, just incase there is a fire etc, one day I will get around to scanning them into my computer. Once I found the photo I though what will I do, and I remember seeing this tutorial at Wiff of Joy by Michelle Roos, on creating a book card, I've seen quite a few of them popping up over the last few months. I will give this to my mother for her birthday, with a little something inside, I know she will cherish it. Now where has that teddy gone?

Oh.. I'm 18mths old in this photo!

Hello buddies!

This will be a quick post, as I've a busy day ahead, off to buy my little grandson Jack, his first pair of school shoes, he is so excited that he is starting school, school returns in the next few days, humm not looking forward to the traffic it brings. Then Im off to pick up mum and go and see my dad, who had is operation on Friday, and so far so good, fingers crossed, they think they got all the cancer, and he wont need chemo or radiotherapy.

Yesterday I quickly called into my local craft shop to say hi to the girls, as its been so long since I've seem them all, and had a good old natter, and they had 20% off all paper so grabbed a few sheets, then I saw they had a specials basket so I grabbed a few designer rhinestones. Its only a few weeks away before 'love will be in the air' (LOL)... should be every day, so I've created this cute Valentines day card, I've used craft card, my dp is minds eye, heart nestibilities which is popped up on pop dots, added the rhinestone sentiment, now how quick was that... very... so I made two exactly the same.

Make Some Noise!

Hi blogging buddies,

Well its nice to be home, and back in the craft room. Went back to work on Thursday, thank goodness it wasn't a full week, I was exhausted after just two days (LOL). I've caught up on all the domestic chores, now I've a bit of free time to play... yippee!

This card has been created using the Annabelle's Sketch, my stamp is also from Annabelle Stamps, and is Rockin Instrumental, papers are from Stampin Up, coloured with prismacolor pencils and I used the gold spica pen, added a few brads and sentiment.
