Mothers Day!

Good morning/Evening!

I've been quite busy of late, with nothing in particular, just stuff!.... we lost daylight savings on the weekend... and I love coming home from work when its light... now have to travel in the dark.... yuk! ... its a sign to close the pool down to next season, and start getting out the woolies! winter will be here soon. I think the next thing on my list is photography!... wish I could take good photos.... anyone have any tips!

Just a quick post, popped down to see Sue for her birthday, and wow did she have some beautiful cards from all her blogging buddies!... caught up on a bit of goss, which is alway nice, I didn't realise I've not seen her since I returned from o/s, I didn't even tell her about my trip, to busy chatting about what we both love best ... card making.... my trip will be next time!

Hello buddies!

This will be a quick post, as I've a busy day ahead, off to buy my little grandson Jack, his first pair of school shoes, he is so excited that he is starting school, school returns in the next few days, humm not looking forward to the traffic it brings. Then Im off to pick up mum and go and see my dad, who had is operation on Friday, and so far so good, fingers crossed, they think they got all the cancer, and he wont need chemo or radiotherapy.

Yesterday I quickly called into my local craft shop to say hi to the girls, as its been so long since I've seem them all, and had a good old natter, and they had 20% off all paper so grabbed a few sheets, then I saw they had a specials basket so I grabbed a few designer rhinestones. Its only a few weeks away before 'love will be in the air' (LOL)... should be every day, so I've created this cute Valentines day card, I've used craft card, my dp is minds eye, heart nestibilities which is popped up on pop dots, added the rhinestone sentiment, now how quick was that... very... so I made two exactly the same.

Good Morning/Evening,

It's quite an overcast day today in Sydney, raining on and off, so no time to be spent out doors, and this is the first day in weeks I've had the opportunity to enter the craft room, and its exactly the way I left it .... in a mess.... so today, I though hummm, its time to get back into the swing of things ... did a quick tidy up and created this card for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No. 19, which was a sketch, and Our Creative Corner, which is to use cork, well I didn't have any cork so I used kraft card and embossed it.

We have just had to best weather this long weekend (Queens Birthday) here in Sydney, and I've been cleaning, gardening all the things that get neglected in winter. Then my daughter bought over the boys, and of course I had to stop, shower and play with them, once they left, I thought its about time I hit the craft room, so this card is for Sassy Cheryls challenge No. 15, and we are to add embossing, I just love this cute Sassy Cheryl image, which was a freebie. I'm also entering this over at Our Creative Corner Sketch challenge. I've used american craft card, dp is chatter box - mini gazebo paisley, image is Sassy Cheryl, I coloured the image with copics, if I may say so myself, I think I'm getting better at using them (LOL)!

Good Morning,

I've been complaining about a sore shoulder for quite some time now, and on Monday I was in excruciating pain, so I made an appointment at the physiotherapist, I'm so lucky I went when I did, as they say I'm on the verge of frozen shoulder, something I've never heard, as I spend most of my day on a computer and phone, and with out really knowing it, I rest the phone between my ear and shoulder so I can still type, well that is a big big no no, I've lots of exercises to do, and I've been twice this week, and feel better already, so thought I would get into making a card for Our Creative Corner challenge, which is a sketch and Basic Grey, which is to use punches,also Mad for Markers, which is feathering, something I'm still getting the hang of. I just love the Whiff of Joy City Girl Collection, and this one is Dancing Willow, I've coloured her with copics, added star dust stickles and rhinestones to her necklace, DP is basic grey sugar rush, Martha Stewart punch.

Dress & Shoes: B41,B91,B93,B95

Its great stamping weather this weekend, so hopefully, I will get a few more done!

Yum ... Watermelon!

Well, I'm back with another card, this card is for Sassy Cheryl's challenge, and Judy is the hostess and we are to use a Sassy Cheryls image as the main part of the card, color the image in any colours, use any sketch,so I've used the sketch at Our Creative Corner, but you are to leave the rest white .... so its a white on white theme. I've used Sassy Cheryl's 'Watermelon Bee', coloured with prismacolor pencils and gamsol, I embossed the background, added a bow, few flowers and pearls. I'm also entering this into Annabelle Stamps Challenge, which is to include pearls on your project and basic grey challenge, which is clean with a splash of colour.

I hope to get another made before the weekend is out!

Good Morning/Evening!

I've had such a busy week working 12hr days, but its alway like this the week before we commence filming, sorting out cast, crew and locations, and the weekend has been quite busy, doing house work, and not to mention the ironing, but its all done ready for another week. I've created this card for Annabelle's Sketch Challenge, using the sketch & Our Creative Corner, which is flowers & blossoms. I've used american craft earth tone card stock, DP is green at heart, and my image is Gina K spring florals, coloured the image with prismacolour pencils and gamsol and punched out the flowers.

Hello World!

What a glorious day in Sydney!..... Well, I'm not staying in the craft room today, I'm heading outdoors to play in the garden, put the ipod on and I'm away.... but I must tell you, I had to go and collect some Basic Grey paper packs which were held for Sue and I, and I said to myself on the way just go in get what you want and leave, guess what,they were unloading a new shipment of punch's, and you guessed it, out I walked the 3!

So, today's card is for my niece's birthday. .... I've created an easel card, used a Sassy Cheryl's image, coloured with primsacolor pencils & gamsol, and I've used 3 different punch's, added a ribbon, a few pearls and it looked plain, so I added a few roses. This card is for a few challenges:

*Sassy Cheryl's Challenge - Jackie is the hostess and we are to use a Sasy Cheryl 'girl' image, include ribbon.

* Allsorts Challenge - Brenda is the hostess and she has selected petals and pearls.

* Crazy 4 Challenges - Its 1 ribbon, 2 buttons, and 3 different punch's.

* Our Creative Corner - Dana is the hostess and has challenged the OCC to bows.... lucky I can see two on my card!

Eldon With Flower

Good Morning/Evening,

I have a wonderful break up North, spent 2 1/2hrs in a day spa, massage, facial .... then lunch, its just what the doctor ordered! .... but its nice to be back to my own bed and pillow, wow don't you miss your pillow when away!..... I've created this card for two challenges, first of all I used the sketch at 'Our Creative Corner Weekly Sketch - OCCSC9', and at TMITA this weeks challenge is bought to us by Selma, and you must use a Paper Cupcake image, and we are to add flowers ... celebrating Spring....

My digi image is Eldon With Flower, coloured with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.... I seriously don't know what I was thinking trying to create flowers with stems.... they look so stupid, but hey I had fun!

The weather is just fantastic here in Sydney, they were back burning yesterday, and now the smoke has gone yippee! .... Today's card is for two challenges, first of all this is for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No.4, the hostess is Tracy, and her challenge is to make a card or 3D project Easter/Spring, and you must use a Sassy Cheryl's image. The second challenge is for Our Creative Corner, and this week Silke Ledlow is challenging us to a sketch.

Good Morning,

Thought I better get this posted before I head out the door. I taking my two grandsons to the Moscow Circus, now I've the camera back, which was sitting on the wall outside at work, I will take some photo's and post up during the week. So back to my card, this is for TMIA challenge, which is bought to us this week by Olga, which is to use any paper cupcakes image, three ribbons, two buttons. I've used the sketch over at Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge. My dp is basic crew, I've coloured my image in prismacolour pencils and gamsol, used my nestibilities, and here it is..

Beautiful Day

Well, back again, nothing to report .... (LOL) haven't moved out of the craft room! ... this time I've make a card for Our Creative Corner - Sketch Challenge, Oh, forgot to tell , went to the local craft shop to collect some tape, and yes, you guessed it I walked out with a punch, new copic blender pen, but best of all they had new card stock selling in packs, 60 loose sheets, 15 colours, well of course I couldn't decide between Autumn or Earth tones, its by American crafts, its 80lb, and textured .... anyway new for this Aussie .... so got both... naughty me! Oh where was I, yep, so I used american crafts autumn card stock, stamp and sentiment is from Gina K, I've embossed my card stock with a triangle embossing folder, and yes you guessed it I'm entering this card in Inspire at Stamp Tv, which is diamonds, the punch is martha stewart.

Valentine's Day!

With Valentines Day just around the corner, I thought I would make a masculine card.
