Hello - I'm Back

Good Morning All,

Just a quick hello whilst I'm doing all the washing, got back from 10 wonderful days in Fiji on Treasure Island. Is was just magical, every day all I did was swim, swim, and more swimming, a few cocktails by the pool, and yes talk about eat, I've put on so much weight... well I have a year to try and get it off (LOL). The weather was just fantastic, but have arrived home to rain, and I'm sitting hear with a sweater on, its a bit nippy! ....

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good too you all.

Yes, its that time of the year again, with Christmas just around the corner, its so hectic at the shops, I drove round and round looking for a park, in the end I left, so will have to get up earlier.... Anyway, I've made this card for Holly's Birthday, she will turn 18 on Christmas Day, whilst we are in Fiji. Hello Everyone!

Today is such a beautiful day here in Sydney not too hot and not too cold just right!, I headed to the shops, like everyone else to grab a few more bits and pieces, I was looking for ages for a pair of boardshorts for my son in-laws birthday, finally found a pair, hope he likes them.

Well I had so many small scraps laying around, instead of binning them I decided to make a few tags. now I've started I have a lot more to make,which I'm sure I will do in the next few days (LOL)...

I get so enthusiastic with all the sketch challenges, as I love sketches, I print out all the sketches, put them on the table, then forget when they are due.... so I'm going to have to write the dates on them (LOL)....... this card is for Annabelle's Sketch Challenge 0005,

I used basic gray dp, the stamp is Gina K, which I've gold embossed, added a bow, which took so so long to do, as this is one think I have real trouble with, added some bling, popped the image up on pop dots.

Surfing Santa

This time its surfing santa, every time I look at this card it makes me laugh, soon as I saw this set 'Merry Christmas Mate', in the stampin up catalogue, I knew I had to have them, I think I will get a bit of use out of these over the years.

I coloured him with prismacolour pencils, added dimensional magic to the waves, trying to give it a water feel, but didn't really turn out, never mind ..... we learn from mistakes .... dp is basic grey, sentiment and stamp is stamping up.

He is so cute hanging onto his candy cane, I coloured him with prismacolour pencils, added a little silver glitter to his hat, the dp is basic grey, and sentiment is from Stampin Up. added a little bling and ribbon, and bingo he was done!

Baby Girl

After many attempts, my friend has given birth to a healthy baby girl 'Sophia', both are doing extremely well. They live 12oo ks from me on the Gold Coast, so it will be a while before I get to have a cuddle, but I've received a photo, and she is cute as a button. This card is for Crazy 4 Challenges, you had to use a punch within your

project, and I've used my flower punch for the flowers.

It's Saturday, yippie! .... well my day started early, as I had to take Holly out to the airport by 6am, as she is heading to the Gold Coast in Queensland, for schoolies, and for those of you who don't know what it's about, it's when kids finish there last year of schooling, year 12 and its party time, it's policed and extremely well organised (I hope).... Each week for 3 weeks they have different states, Queenlsland was last week, NSW this, and next is Melbourne. Well, I would hate to be a flight attendant on the flights leaving today, as her flight was full of 17/18 year old girls, and a hand full of boys! It's now midday, and I haven't heard so things must have gone smoothly at the other end. I've stripped beds, cleaned the house, ready for the week to myself.

This card I've made for my nephew's birthday, I find it hard to make for boys.... my dp is free digi paper from kaisercraft, and my digi image is from digi sparkle.

Hello All,

It's such a beautiful day in Sydney today, crystal blue sky, love this weather, can't wait to get home and have a swim. As I leave home quite early, and am hopeless at photographing my cards inside, I bought my card and camera to work, I spilt a little water on the sentiment.... silly me.... will have to rectify when I get home .... I was in such a hurry, as I didn't want to be caught!!! ... even though I'm the boss, need to set a good example! (LOL) ... me! So this card I made last night, for icsketches No. 44, using Sunshine Stamp, the Snowman with Tree, and sentiment. Go and check out the store, there are some great digi images.

Hello, I'm back again, not much to report in, as nothing exciting has really happened in the last 24hrs... Today was quite cool in Sydney, quite a change from the weekend. I've managed to do two challenge in one. This is for Card Patterns Sketch 42, and for the color challenge on Stamp TV, which is to create a monochromatic card. I've used plain gk card, dp is kaisercraft - Lilac Avenue Collection, and the sentiment is from Gina K.

Over at Stamp TV, they have a monthly 3D Challenge, and for the month of November, you have to create a Gable Box, using Nina's template, well I thought I would give it a go, so if you would like to have a go, I've put the link here for the template, also the link to the tutorial is on Nina blog here. I used Gina K card, DP is basic G, and the sentiment is Stampin Up.

We had very hot weather this weekend, hitting the 40's, bush fire weather, thank goodness for air conditioning, as I've been inside most of the weekend, dipping in the pool, but it was too hot to stay out doors, also I was catching up on odds and ends, and dabbling in the craft room, when no one was around. Todays card is for Annabelle's challenge, ABSC003. I've used Gina K red and green card, dp is Basic Grey - Wassail paper pad, and the stamp, I have know idea, there is no markings on it.

Well, I haven't been able to post my cards this weekend, as I can't find the cord to my camera, think I've left it at work, well I'm hoping so, as I've searched high and low, with no luck, the last time I had it was at work, so fingers crossed. Anyway this card is for Crazy For Challenges 12. This image was a freebie from Victoria Case - Spot and Sammy. I used white card stock, then layered it with pure luxury card stock (autumn assortment) from Gina K, I used the red, my dp is from TPC Studio - transportation primary stripe, I then used the star embossing folder, the sentiment comes from stampin Up - Upsy Daisy, I coloured the image with copics and prismacolor pencils.

Hello Everyone !

Well tonight I'm off to the IF awards (independent film), this is where they will announce the best film of the year, most outstanding actors, best costume designer, designer etc.... so looking forward to getting dressed up and walking the red carpet, I always dread I'm going to trip over.... oh my god what a site that would be (LOL). This year they are holding them at Luna Park, Sydney, which is right under the Harbour Bridge, as the weather is gorgeous, hopefully it will be the same tonight. Its such a gorgeous day here is Sydney, sun shining not a cloud in the sky, only one problem, I'm at work!....

I've created this card for Copic Buzz Challenge 21 at Paper Craft Planet, I've used a digi image from Doodle Bean Digital Stamps.

I'm still trying to master using copics!

So what do you think of this snowman ... If I may say so myself, I think he is rather handsome!
