Morning/Evening,

I just love the new Wiff of Joy City Girl stamps designed by Elisabeth Bell, when I saw them, I knew I just had to have them, so this afternoon I've created a card for OCC sketch challenge, my image is Willow Shopping, which I love to do, I've coloured her with my prisma colour pencils, my dp is basic grey lemonade, I'm running out of this paper pad, will have to get more as I just love all the summery colours, flowers are from Gina K which I've had for a while and discovered them whilst cleaning out the draw... a little bling, and bingo, her she is.... thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Wishes

Where did the weekend go! .... Saturday, did the house work, finished of the washing, looked at the time and it was 5pm,. Jack my 4year old grandson, rang and asked if I would come and play wii with him, he just loves ten pin bowling, so quickly showered and headed to their house, stayed for dinner. Then today we all went out house hunting, she is looking at purchasing her first home, its going to take time to find the right one at the right price. When I got home I went downstairs to the craft room and realised I made this card during the week for Crazy 4 Challenges and totally forgot to post it.... its because I can't photograph at night! I'll give this to my ex-mother-in-law for her birthday. Also for Basic Grey challenge.

Hello!

Well, I haven't made any cards for a while, just been a little busy with work and family. Over at stamp TV, there are six of us and we call ourselves the Roses, there is Olga, Kym, Betty, Connie, Sue and myself. So just between the six of us we have set a monthly challenge, and this is the first month set by Sue, and we are to make a thank you card and send to Gina K, because if it wasn't for her we would not have met each other through Stamp TV. Next month Kym will bring us the challenge, then its my turn.... My dp is basic grey lemonade, sentiment is from Gina K, and of course my butterfly punch, which I totally just love.

WEEKEND!

Oh, where did the weekend go ..... I went to ACDC thursday night, whilst they have to be the ugliest band I've ever seen, they certainly know how to play, they put on the best concert I've ever seen ... they are legends.... and my favorite! Then I attended a good friends funeral Friday morning, he was only 51, and saw so many people I haven't seen for such a long time, if only he knew who loved him. Then my sister in law arrived from Coff Harbour, which is up the north coast of New South Wales, for the weekend, so we have been out and about .... and now I've got my place back in order, and off to work tomorrow - yuk!

I'm babysitting my two grandsons tonight, they are 4 & 1 and so much fun, once they were bathed, dressed and fed and into bed, I cleaned up, then headed to the craft room, I wasn't going to do any thing, just have a tidy up, as my room is in a mess, well guess what, I didn't, instead I decided to do two challenges in one. This is for Crazy 4 Challenges, which is to use Red, and Allsorts Challenge, this week is its Debs turn to choose the theme and she gives us a recipe 3,2,1, so I've used 3 rhinestones, 2 images, 1 ribbon. I know I'm early, but I just couldn't find a stamp I really wanted to put with red, and the only thing that came to mind was a christmas card. Back to what I started out to do! .... clean my mess!

Looks like the rain has eased up a little...! Well, Holly is of to an out door concert today, I suggested she take a rain coat, well you should have see the look on her face, I was just trying to keep her dry. ..... kids ..... Yippie its the weekend ..... and looks like I'm in for a very wet one, its pouring this evening, and they say its here to stay for the weekend, I've just done all the weeks washing, my home looks like a chinese laundry (LOL), shouldn't take too long to dry, as its quite humid. I have made this card for a few challenges, first of all

THURSDAY .....

Just dropping by to say, hi ... I'm still here, with nothing to post, we are so busy this week at work, working 12hr days, start filming tomorrow, second season of Rescue Special Operations, for you Aussie's it on channel 9, coming back to the screen around end of April.... Once the crew are out of the office and filming, things get quieter.... bring on Friday .... so this weekend I will be madly trying to catch up with all the challenges I want to do, probably will miss the deadline, but will do them anyway....

The rain stopped for a few hours today .... so I quickly went out to see my parents, had a cuppa, then came back and was on skype with Olga and Connie, it was so good to hear their voices, we had a laugh and a half!.... They are probably tucked up in bed, fast asleep now. This card is for two challenges, Allsorts Challenge No. 38 & Card Pattens Sketch Challenge No. 50. My image is Sarah Kay, I just love this image, I've ordered a few more, just can't wait till they arrive, dp is basic grey, lemonade, martha stewart butterfly punch, I've distressed the edges, doesn't really show up too well in the photo.

Valentine's Day!

With Valentines Day just around the corner, I thought I would make a masculine card. I was able to use this for a few challenges, Crazy for Challenges 23, Our Creative Corner, and Creative Card Crew..... my dp is basic grey, Ambrosia, not quite sure where the stamp came from, but I've embossed this, added a bit of ribbon and a little bling, oh I hope its still masculine ...

After such a busy week, I knew I had to get a wriggle on with some challenges. So, first things first, today Saturday, I went and had my hair cut, then cleaned the house, then came the washing, it's all pegged out in the laundry, as its been raining cats and dogs today, as the last few days, and they say for a few more days ... what's happening to this Aussie Summer. I think my mate Olga is sending her dreadful weather our way! (LOL).

This weeks challenge at There's Magic in The Air, is bought to us by Sue Walsh, who wants us to use this cute little image by Nina, and create a Valentine gift tag, and add some stitching. I couloured my little bear with copics, cut out two different size scolloped nestabilities, dp basic grey Lemonade, pierced around both edges, then I used gold thread and have hand stitched around the edge. How cute is he... Sorry about the photo, taken inside ...

ACDC ....

Hello,

I haven't anything to post ... been working silly hours, but the weekend is coming around fast.... and I will be spending a few hours in the craft room! ..... well count down to one of the best rock bands in the world,  ACDC .... yes I've got VIP tickets,  probably showing my age ... but hey I don't care.... I'm getting excited.  I purchased these in June! ... as a gift for a friend and I, and he has know idea where we are going, the hints I've been dropping have him way off track ...'hope you like opera', 'haven't been to the opera house for a while', 'lets have dinner at circular Quay', lets take the train....  today, he announced how much he can't stand opera, but because this is what I want to do, he will come with ear plugs!!  ... I know he loves ACDC.... what a surprise this will be for him....

No post .... but what a game of tennis last night, I was hanging on the end of my seat ... Andy, was hanging in there, but Federer was just too good on the night... but I think we will be seeing a lot of this young scottish boy...
