Hang In There - Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No. 5

Morning All!

Tomorrow afternoon I'm flying up to Coffs Harbour which is up the north coast from Sydney, to spend Easter with family, really looking forward to getting away, so won't be around until next week, when I have to return to work 'yuk; ..... todays card is for Sassy Cherly's Challenge No. 5, and its bought to us by Tracey, the theme is Distressing - rip, tear, antique it! .. what every your heart desires. I've distressed around the edges, not that you can really tell in my photo. I've created an easel card, used a cute Sassy Chery's image, coloured with prismacolour pencils,gamsol, and my dp basic grey lemonade, added a few flowers and bingo here it is!

Easter Basket - TMITA

Good Morning!....

Took me so long to get to work this morning, as it's raining today in Sydney, not complaining .... but why when it rains, it adds an extra 1/2hr to my trip? Anyway enough of me .... Today's creative creation, is for TMITA challenge which is bought to us this week by Sue Walsh, and as Easter is just around the corner, Sue has challenged us to make an easter basket. I've made mine out of nestibilities, you can find the tutorial here, I've used a digi image from Paper Cupcakes, and coloured my image with prismacolour pencils and gamsol.

Oops.... I ate the chocolate eggs .. only two left....

The weather is just fantastic here in Sydney, they were back burning yesterday, and now the smoke has gone yippee! .... Today's card is for two challenges, first of all this is for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No.4, the hostess is Tracy, and her challenge is to make a card or 3D project Easter/Spring, and you must use a Sassy Cheryl's image. The second challenge is for Our Creative Corner, and this week Silke Ledlow is challenging us to a sketch.

My image is Sassy Cheryl's, my dp is My Minds Eye, which was gift from Betty Benton, its just so fresh, great for spring ...

March-ing With The Troups

This card is for the Roses Challenge, there are six of us Olga, Kym, Betty, Connie and Sue, this months challenge has been set by Kym, the challenge is to create a card, send to her son who is serving in Afghansitan with the US Marines. So I got talking to Sue about the challenge and I've copied her thinking, which was to leave the card blank insert a blank envelope, so Travis can either send to his mum, wife, sister, or even just a friend to say hi.

My stamp is from gina k - take flight, dp is Kaisercraft - Lilac Avenue collection, martha steward boarder bunch.

Well this will be in the post tomorrow.

Now, its my turn to set the challenge for the month of April! thinking cap is on!

Good Morning,

Thought I better get this posted before I head out the door. I taking my two grandsons to the Moscow Circus, now I've the camera back, which was sitting on the wall outside at work, I will take some photo's and post up during the week. So back to my card, this is for TMIA challenge, which is bought to us this week by Olga, which is to use any paper cupcakes image, three ribbons, two buttons. I've used the sketch over at Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge. My dp is basic crew, I've coloured my image in prismacolour pencils and gamsol, used my nestibilities, and here it is..

LOST CAMERA

Hello all,

Well I don't know what I've done with my camera, I thought I had left it at work, well its not there, I've searched high and low, I've turned my home upside down.... the last photo I took was of my new car, downloaded it to the computer... but where is it now ... if it doesn't turn up by the weekend, I think I will have to get another...aarrgghh.

So here is my car....

Oh, the weather here is Sydney has just been fantastic, too good to be inside.... I made this card last week for a little boy who's turning 2. I used a digi image form Mo Manning. I don't think I will get much stamping done this weekend, as I'm babysitting, which will be fun as mum and dad are off to a wedding... This is for Crazy 4 Challenges - a masculine card.

Hello From Down Under!

I'm sorry to say, I haven't given the craft room a thought this weekend. I received my new car on Friday, been waiting 3 months, so I spend most of the time reading the manuel, and just driving around the streets to get used to the wipers and blinkers, as the are on different sides to my old car. Then today, Sunday I went sailing, gorgeous weather, little overcast, so didn't think of sunscreen, but I've a little red nose... look like rudolf (LOL)... hopefully, I will get to play this week...

A Little Birdie Told Me So

Well Well Well .. I'm back again mid week!

I'm really enjoying have these few days off, the weather is miserable, so its nice to be in doors, I even put on a jacket tonight so it must be cold. Today I headed to the office for a quick meeting, then went shopping, didn't buy anything, too cold, so went home. Holly is home sick with tonsillitis, doctors think they have to come out, as she is sick about once every 6 weeks... So, I sat down totally relaxed and coloured in Sassy Cheryl image 'A little birdie told me so', this card is for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge No. 2, I've used basic grey dp, american craft card - autumn, coloured the image with prisma colour pencils and gamsol , flowers are from Gina K, and of course my butterfly punch, I know I sound like a broken record, but I love this punch. Well to tell you the truth, I don't like the way this card turned out, I was fiddling around too much, I think I do better, when I know I'm on the clock (LOL)

Can't believe it, I'm posting during the week..... what happened ...... had a day off work!. Well, Danielle Lord brings this weeks challenge at TMITA, it is to use 'Pot Of Gold' image from Paper Cupcakes and the colours are green and gold. Also Janet is bringing the second challenge at Pink Gem Challenge, which is a sketch. I've used BG Sugar Rush, swiss dots embossing folder, circle nestibilities, flower punch... and bingo, here it is!

St Patrick's Day

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #1, is all about green, as they say think of March and you are reminded of the colour green, not me I think 'oh no, I'm going to be another year older' (LOL). Anyway, all you have to do is use any digital image from Sassy Cheryl's, and I'm using Saint Patrick's Day Patty, I think she is quite cute, I've coloued with prismacolour pencils and gamsol, and added a cheeky sentiment!

Well, back again, nothing to report .... (LOL) haven't moved out of the craft room! ... this time I've make a card for Our Creative Corner - Sketch Challenge, Oh, forgot to tell , went to the local craft shop to collect some tape, and yes, you guessed it I walked out with a punch, new copic blender pen, but best of all they had new card stock selling in packs, 60 loose sheets, 15 colours, well of course I couldn't decide between Autumn or Earth tones, its by American crafts, its 80lb, and textured .... anyway new for this Aussie .... so got both... naughty me! Oh where was I, yep, so I used american crafts autumn card stock, stamp and sentiment is from Gina K, I've embossed my card stock with a triangle embossing folder, and yes you guessed it I'm entering this card in Inspire at Stamp Tv, which is diamonds, the punch is martha stewart.

Happy Easter

Good Morning/Evening!

The reason I've had such a dreadful week, is because I'm leaving the job I'm presently doing, they have known for 4 months, but have just ignored it, until this week, it was full flight, as we have commenced shooting, and have two episodes in the can with eleven more to go, I always said that I will set up the new series of 'Rescue Special Ops'. They love me ... and don't want me to go.... but its about loyalty, and I have committed to another project, and another network, working freelance ... its hard work!

Today I did a big 'spring' clean, inspired by Patti, so thanks for the inspiration! Also Patti brings us this weeks challenge at TMITA, and she would like you to use 'any acquired paper cupcake's' image and her sketch. I've created an Easter Card, using digi image 'Sunny Stroll', my dp is BG 'sugar rush', I coloured the image in my prisma colour pencils, and gamsol. Also, over at Crazy 4 Challenges, you can create anything you like, as long as it has paper piercing, which I've incorporated into my card.
