Hello From Down Under!

Hi All,

Just thought I would drop in and say hello, been a little frantic this week, and its so so so cold, that I can't get moving when I get home from work, I just want to sit in front of the fire and not move..... I'm hoping to catch up on a few challenges this weekend....

Roses Challenge No. 5

Good Morning / Evening!

Ok, its that time again the Roses Challenge, and its come around so fast, this month has just flown by!. There are six of us, Olga, Kym, Betty, Connie and Sue, and this month its Olga's turn to host the challenge, we are to make a card with an animal.... I've had my card made for a week or so, but wasn't going to post until the 30th, as I thought we were to post last day of the month, not last Sunday of the month!... but lucky over here is Australia, we are a day ahead!... I used this cute little owl stamp 'Hoo Hoo There' from Stampavie, and my dp is BG - green at heart, punched a few flowers, added a bit of bling..... but what about the eyes, I found these wiggly eyes at the $2 dollar shop, they come in a packet ranging from large to small, and I've used the smallest... Next Month 'July', it's Betty's turn to host the challenge, wonder what it is. If you have a minute go check out the girls blogs, they are always a great inspiration. Olga, Kym, Betty, Connie & Sue.

Good Morning / Evening,

We have a late start at work today, so that means a late night! As I'm so used to getting up early, I decided to go and finish off my card which I started last night. This card is for There's Magic In The Air, and this week Pat Pedder brings us the challenge, we are to use the freebie 'Cats' by Paper Cupcakes, and she wants to see spots. I've coloured my image with copics, and the dp is kaisercraft, don't know the name as it was in the scrap basket. The sketch is from this weeks Mojo Monday Wk 144.

30th Birthday

Good Morning/Evening!

It's my Production Co-ordinators 30th Birthday this week, and I started this card for her a few weeks back, put it to one side and totally forgot about it, but as I was having a little tidy up I came across it, thank goodness I did or she would have never forgiven me if I had forgot her birthday!.... she been reminding us all for weeks, think she wants us to do something special.... little does she know ... we are!

Ok.... my image is from Whiff of Joy, and I've coloured with copies, dp is basic grey - green at heart.

Another glorious weekend here in Sydney not a cloud in the sky, so off too the nursery I went and bought a few plants... I made this card for a special blogging friend, this will be in the mail tomorrow! I've used a Sassy Cheryls image, dp is basic grey kioshi, I've coloured my image with copics, and added a little sparkle to her bow and the edge of the flowers with a spica lavender pen.... my sketch is Cards & Patterns Sk69. I'm thinking of taking a photography course, as I'm hopeless at taking photos!

Ok don't fall over.... yes I'm back! ..... my craft room looks like a bomb has gone off, but I'm loving it, I'm just going to close the door and walk away (LOL).... Ok this is for There's Magic in the Air, and this week Patti Nelson has challenged us to a monochromatic theme project. Monochromatic is one colour with variations of the same.

We have just had to best weather this long weekend (Queens Birthday) here in Sydney, and I've been cleaning, gardening all the things that get neglected in winter. Then my daughter bought over the boys, and of course I had to stop, shower and play with them, once they left, I thought its about time I hit the craft room, so this card is for Sassy Cheryls challenge No. 15, and we are to add embossing, I just love this cute Sassy Cheryl image, which was a freebie. I'm also entering this over at Our Creative Corner Sketch challenge. I've used american craft card, dp is chatter box - mini gazebo paisley, image is Sassy Cheryl, I coloured the image with copics, if I may say so myself, I think I'm getting better at using them (LOL)!

JUST A NOTE TO SAY HI

I've not had time to do a thing this week, the weather is driving me crazy. Today we were filming in the city, my umbrella blew inside out, I then stepped in a big puddle and ended up totally drenched.... not happy!.... I'm looking forward to the weekend, as I heading to Melbourne, there are about 30 of us, and are coming in from Perth, Gold Coast and Adelaide, and the best of the bunch from Sydney (LOL) it should be lots of fun....as much as work can be. But, I'm going to really miss my buddy Sue, who is heading to London and the States on a holiday on Sunday, I hope her and Walshie have a wonderful safe trip, and look forward to hearing all about it, and seeing their photo's on there return.
