Acetate Gable Box

Hello

Yippee... its the weekend, and overcast her in Sydney, so I've spent a few hours in and around the house, did a bit of gardening, now its starting to get a little cool, so I've come in made a hot cup of tea, and headed straight to the craft room, couldn't spend long, as I heading out to see the grand kids, haven't seen them for a fortnight and I've having withdrawals.... I've created another gable box, but this time I used acetate, this was so fiddly, that I was nearly going to throw it in the bin, it was driving me crazy, do you ever get like that? Well I persisted, and I think it turned out alright, best thing was putting the chocolates in side, one for me, one for the box (LOL)..... my stamp is from stampin up, I embossed it in gold.... I would like to enter the following challenges.

Thanks for visiting!

I think it turned out awesome! Your so brave using acetate! I would have eaten all the chocolate before I was done with the project ;0)

Hi Kez

LOL, I'm with Patti, I think I would have eaten all the chocolate. Did you notice that my acetate pillow box only had silver beads in it, chocolate doesn't last long enough in my house to be photograghed lol.
Your gable box looks fantastic, well done for persisting, it was definitely worth it.
Thanks for joining in the fun this month at Paper Cubed.

I agree about it being a little "fiddly", but they are oh so cute when completed! And you are my kind of girl....one for the box, one for me! LOL!!! This is adorable! Love that you used the acetate for a box! Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!

Oh you are so funny. I do that too when I add chocolates to a box. I know how hard it is to work with acetate and I think you did a great job.
